Our  Corporate and Social Responsibility Strategy

As a leading international distributor of communications support materials, Antalis believes that its development must take into account economic, social and environmental concerns.

Antalis Corporate Social Responsibility actions are fully in line with its parent’s company Sequana’s global strategy. It aims to insure that the group and all its entities embrace responsibility for the company’s actions related to economic, social, ethical  and environmental concerns.

With this common policy, detailed through 4 pillars and 8 initiatives, Sequana and its branches ensure to cover the main concerns of a leading company from the pulp and paper sector.

The four pillars of our CSR strategy :

- Natural resources (traceability, Energy and Water consumption)
- People (Safety, skills and diversity)
- Product offer with eco responsible  products


To enforce this commitment, all Antalis countries have adopted the Sustainability Charter (add local one).

CSR Policy and network

The group seeks to implement a global CSR policy , with a dedicated network and strong and reliable related reporting processes that will insure that the  group and all its branches focus, in a consistent way, on the main CSR priorities. This policy is being translated into quantified targets in all the eight initiatives

 

 

Traceability

The group responsibility is to ensure that 100% of the products we produce or distribute are responsible meaning fully traceable and legal.

 

 

 

 

 

Safety

The group responsibility is to insure to its employees a safe and healthy working Environnement. Thus, the group aims to reduce by 30% its Lost Time Accident rate in its mills and wharehouses

 

 

 

 

Product offer

The group needs to communicate on the environmental issues and on the product’s performance to educate and inform the consumer. It is the responsibility of the group to insure that the environmental credential on its eco responsible range of products brings solid and reliable information to the customer.

 

Business Ethics

The group aims to implement clear ethical policies and rules in order to respect legal requirements on competition and corruption issues, and to make sure that all employees are fully aware and trained on those topics.

 

Energy

The group and its branches seek to improve the energy consuming processes in order to increase the energy efficiency of its mills and wharehouses and to develop alternative sources of energy

 

 

Skills and diversity

The group is developing a policy to capitalize on skills and knowledge and to enhance diversity in the group.
